deep blue eyes surfaced from heavy eye lids before glancing around the calm scenery of the park. birds chirped in the distance while the slight breeze pushed the newly blossomed trees. matt's head fell backward slightly while his head swung side to side to catch up with the moving scenery. he must have looked like a fool to the fellow dwellers in the park, probably just one of the typical crazies that surface and disappear by night. a smile crossed his lips while his head lifted to look out over the grass ahead of him; green. blue orbs focused for a second before slipping back into a blurred vision while his head slowly began tilting back again before his eyes stopped on the sky; blue. "mmm," his throat rumbled while a thin frame pushed from the bench he was so perfectly placed on.
the tip of a tongue slipped from dry lips before wetting them while he walked down the dirt path. matt's hands anxiously fumbled against his jeans, the feeling of numbness was starting to take over which meant the pin-pricks of what felt to be needles wasn't far behind. his high wouldn't last long, not after the little dose but using the rest was a no. he had to wait for nightfall to take the rest. his shoulders shot up while his mouth opened in a short gasp for air. the shiver coursing through his body making the heat of the spring go away for just that mere second. glancing around the area, matt soon realized that his body was now standing in the middle of the path. children to the left, a woman and her daughter walking by on the right, but her frame slowed down before she hid her daughter from the blonde, old eyes narrowed. "you should be ashamed to be in this park with the way you are," a snort escaped the proper mouth.
matt's eyes focused again while the corners of his mouth twitched before he looked back at the woman and smiled with the widest grin he could fathom. "why don't you mind your own business?" his voice was calm while he kept the grin. it almost gave him the appearance of the Cheshire cat in human form. "you'll be saying that to your daughter soon enough," his body turned around while he began walking again. this time to find a more private area to cool down from his current high state.

matthew jones blue orbs followed people in the distance before he zoned in and glanced to the girl next to him. she actually sat next to him without a care in the world. at first it was a little shock, but his eyes half lidded again. "you seem so hung up on the fact that im rich. and too brilliant to interact with someone like you-" his head tilted to her while he let out a smile to her, his high was finally gone which meant he'd be normal for a while until withdrawal began to kick in. "I haven't taken kindly to the people here," he sighed slightly and let his eyes move back out to the rest of the park, the prickles stopping so he could once again feel his limbs. it made his body shake slightly at the feeling. "I've been used to people just ignoring me or bitching about the smallest things," this time his voice was low, it was just a normal tone. almost monotone while he glanced up towards the tree's above them.
at the moment, he was damn glad to have a hoodie on to hide his small track marks. lately it's been bad, he had been hitting up more than normal so throughout the day he'd be constantly high, though a shortage of his baby has been throwing him off his usual schedule. maybe it was time for him to slow down? he was already losing weight like no other. the open wound thing still hadn't started but was bound to. he had seen all the horror pictures of what meth did to someone who used over a series of years. he wasn't bent on stopping anytime soon.
"So what brings you to the park?," he questioned while his smile roamed, pearly whites showing, "and without a maid?" he gasped quietly, but this time his retort was in all playful.
